Ovalated pitted sphere

I took a sphere and overlayed a square grid. Some parts of the grid were further divided. The part of the sphere within each element of the grid was then pulled outward. the centre of the pulled out element was then pushed back in. this was repeated over the whole of the sphere. The image was then coloured.
